Role Description:

Prepare and deliver product demonstration and presentation to customers and partners. Understand customers’ requirements and propose solutions and advices on Esker’ solutions.

 

Key Tasks/Duties:

  • Provide pre-sales groundworks in terms of providing market data, ensuring right prospect and customer profiles
  • Gather and understand customers’ requirement and propose customized solution to match their expectations. Advise clients on P2P and O2C business process best practices
  • Provide products and solutions knowledge, business process and solution design support to the Sales team.
  • Provide support for the Sales team throughout the entire sales cycle include sales pitches/presentations and managing customers’ expectation and timeline
  • Prepare and deliver product demonstration of Esker cloud solutions

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or Engineering

Required Work Experience:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in software pre-sales in a direct and/or channel account ownership role
  • Experience in managing full cycle complex pre-sales and presenting to multiple levels within customer organization
  • Experience in demonstrating solutions to customers or prospects
  • Proven track record of achieving sales quota of software & SaaS revenue

Essential knowledge, skills & abilities:

  • Good knowledge of Purchase to Pay and Order to Cash processes cycles, business process, technical architecture and solutions design
  • Able to write technical sales pitch, assist in building business case for sales team, respond to enquiries and highlight Esker products and solutions features and benefits
  • Good knowledge of ERP logics like SAP, JDE or Oracle (AP, FI, MM) or Accounting software (Sage, Coda, Sun Account) is a bonus
  • Able to configure software solution with some light customization using Java Script
  • Knowledge of cloud solutions is an advantage
  • Exposure with relational databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server), Microsoft Windows Server, integration with SAP or other major ERP is a bonus
  • General knowledge in the areas of accounting and finance is a plus 

Internal work relationships

  • Work with both Asia and Global Professional Service consulting teams on project implementation planning and resourcing, wherever needed
  • Actively participate in continual improvement of solutions and features with Esker Research & Development team and share information on field requirements, customer feedbacks and country/market intelligence
  • Work with marketing team to ensure alignment in marketing strategies and campaigns for Esker’s solutions
  • Work with Customer Experience team on on-going management of customer relationships, loyalty and support

Other Requirements:

  • Possess excellent verbal, written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Flexible to travel (domestic and/or international) to meet business needs. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Languages:

  • Fluent in English
  • Mandarin, Cantonese or French is a plus
