Job Description

Key Purpose of the Job:

Base Digital Production is looking to recruit an experienced Recruitment Coordinator /Recruiter to join the Recruiting team. You will be responsible for recruiting a range of creative and technical staff to ensure the facility is fully staffed with a high standard of talent.  

You will also be expected to be proactive in finding new initiatives to ensure Base Digital Production recruits the best people available in a highly competitive industry.

The Recruiting Coordinator / Recruiter will support and report to Senior Talent Acquisition Manager with day-to-day administration and coordination. The role is both internal client and candidate facing, so a positive, helpful, can do attitude are a must. You responsible for supporting the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager through the full recruitment process.

 Needs to Do:

  • Job Postings (websites, networks, universities).
  • Creatively source artists through job postings, LinkedIn, social media and industry networking events.
  • Prepare job descriptions.
  • Process job applications and record them on the recruitment database.
  • Pre-screen and distribute showreels to Supervisors to be reviewed, keep the candidate informed with the status of their application.
  • Managing applications (assessing, responding, interviewing).
  • Head hunting.
  • Tracking of artists and their availability.
  • Employer branding/ recruiting at conventions, events and universities.
  • Liaising with the Leads to ensure reels are being assessed
  • Ensuring all internal recruitment systems are up to date
  • Management of incoming applications
  • Provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates
  • Provide support to manage the end-to-end logistical arrange for candidates interviews
  • To do full recruitment for IT/HR/Admin/Account

Needs to Have:

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Good memory of people and their performances.
  • Able to act fast and shift priorities any instant.
  • Very precise and efficient working style.
  • Handle confidential data with care and absolute discretion.
  • Able to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Fluent English language skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency using Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word & Excel.
  • Knowledge of Animation and VFX industry will be added advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of Employment law and income tax system.
  • Diploma or a Degree in business studies or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of working experience as Recruiting Coordinator/Recruiter
  • At least 2 years of scheduling experience within recruiting is highly desirable.
  • Proactive and able to work independently.
